How many VA-115 alum plan on visiting the ship when the museum opens? The plan is for the musuen to open in June but that's not firm.

While it's probably not feasible to plan a full blown reunion for the opening it would be nice if we can get together for dinner and drinks one night.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll try to find us a Muster Bar.

Plans for the Museum are June 4th Grand Opening. Billntwrk (Not an Eagle) can help the Buzzer find a Muster Bar. (I live here, just off of down town, 16 blocks from the Museum)

If Bill needs any help, I also live in the San Diego area, I may be able to help out with a VA-115 reunion. I stated before I never sailed on the Midway, but ALL former Midway and air wing sailors amd marines are cordually invited to come to San Diego and visit the Midway at their leasure.

The Possibility exists that Bill and I could get to gether and scout a few local estabilishments for the Squadron Land at and view the local nightlife.

Hey Dan,

This is Gene Morrow from V-2/AG. I just happen to know where McKie and Long are. As a matter of fact, I talk to JR about 7-8 times a week & just got pics of Marvin's new little girl last night.

E-mail me and I'll see if I can set you up with them.

Gene you so rule. So Marvin had a girl? Hey tell him I'm married.

Going to the boat tomorrow with a crew to give her some loving care. God I miss that ship, here I am with 2 broke dork Nimitz carriers and a wanna be WESTPAC'r and the real carrier is just across the bay.

When Midway retired, the real WESTPAC died!

Amen to the above!!!!! But I suppose when Mt. Pinatubo in PI blew up that had some ting to do with Real Westpac's death. Must be hard for "The Nav" to find a good liberty port that you "Can Just Be A Sailor" at. Not since Olongapo became civilized has there been a good westpac liberty port.
