I'm planning my retirement for August 31st in Boston. All former Midway crewman are welcome. Uniform will be grass skirts, ship and squadron ballcaps, WOG on a leash and San Magoo.

Trying to get retired chief Clawson in Whidbey Island to bring his Stoned Crow potato sack shirt so we can have a holy relic of P.I. to pay homage.

Seriously ballcaps for ship's company and airwing.

Wish I could make it there. So, is Boston where you're going to settle down? I thought you were west coast all the way.
There's plenty of room for all of God's creatures....

Congratulations, I retired 3 years ago. I had an informal retirement, but some go all out. It's great being retired!

There is not much Navy in Boston other than the Constitution.

I retired in Feb 1990 here in Sun Diego and now work at NAS North Island accross the street from where the USS Ravishing Ronald CVN-76 berths. The nice thing is that when Ravishing Ronald is out to sea I get a great view of the USS Midway right there across San Diego Bay and a great view of the downtown skyline.

Yes, I'm retired too 2001. Forehammer sounded a bit disgusted prior to his retirement. Bet he feels better now.

Stoned Crow potato sack shirt

Funny I would have retired next January! I was glad I got out, I did 13 years, just couldn't deal with Clinton and his methods of doing more with less!
If it explodes then it is good!
