Subject : Fw: Information on Jim Messner, CVA-41 1962-1966
Troy, I sent you this message because I am not quite sure exactly what to do with it and thought some of his old ship mates might be interested in the services.
Jim Messner was aboard the Midway for the 63-64 cruise and the 65 cruise. He worked the flight deck as either a yellow or blue shirt (Pretty much the same time as myself (VA25) and Trigger (Cat crew) were aboard). I ran across him in 1987 working for Delta Air. Jim also used to crew for one of the unlimited airracers called the "Rare Bear".
Thanks,
Bob Sullivan
